1. Scope & Agribusiness Entities
Farmora Agrisystems Technologies Nigeria Limited ("Farmora", "we", "us") provides AI-powered remote sensing, multispectral crop health classification, soil moisture analytics, and autonomous agronomic decision support. This policy applies to all commercial agricultural enterprises, corporate outgrower schemes, seed multiplication cooperatives, and plantation management companies accessing our platform and connected APIs.
2. Agricultural Data Sovereignty
All spatial boundary vectors (.SHP, GeoJSON), yield monitoring historical logs, drone photogrammetry orthomosaics, and soil probe telemetry remain the exclusive commercial property of the subscribing agribusiness. Farmora never pools, resells, or exposes your proprietary field boundaries or yield benchmarks to competitors or commodity traders.
Each agribusiness customer operates in a cryptographically isolated tenant schema hosted within Microsoft Azure South Africa West. Models trained on your specific agronomic microclimates and soil characteristics are isolated to your workspace.
3. Telemetry & Sensor Streams
When you connect field equipment and remote sensing sources to Farmora, we process the following categories of data:
- Satellite Remote Sensing: Public multispectral satellite bands (Sentinel-2, Landsat 8/9) and subscribed high-resolution constellations (PlanetScope 3m, European Space Agency Copernicus).
- Hardware Probes & Telemetry: Multi-depth capacitive soil moisture probes, electrical conductivity (EC) sensors, Davis weather stations, and center pivot telemetry.
- Machinery & Drone Integrations: Spray routes, flow rate telemetry, and drone scouting orthomosaics (DJI Agras, John Deere Operations Center, Trimble Ag).
- Agronomic Scouting Logs: Visual disease tags, leaf tissue assays, and scout notes entered via the Farmora Mobile Console.
4. AI Remote-Sensing Models
Farmora’s machine learning algorithms calculate normalized difference vegetation indices (NDVI), red-edge chlorophyll levels (NDRE), leaf wetness durations, and soil moisture tension. These calculations are provided as decision-support intelligence. The customer's agronomy directors retain operational authority over field application volumes, agrochemical sprays, and harvest timings.
5. Cloud Security & NDPR Compliance
Farmora operates in full compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Our infrastructure is audited annually against SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 standards. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3, and all tenant data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 with customer-managed keys (Azure Key Vault).
6. Retention & Export Rights
Agribusiness customers may export their historical field data, shapefile prescriptions, and agronomic audit logs at any time in standard interoperable formats (ISO-XML, Shapefile, GeoJSON, CSV). Upon termination of service, all tenant data is securely purged in compliance with DoD 5220.22-M sanitization standards within 60 calendar days.
